[Solved] My Calc file changes to read-only

Hi all
if i leave my CALC files open on task bar they change to "read only " files after a little while
is this normal as this didn`t happen previously how to change back or stop from happening

Is some automatic backup utility touching the files?

i haveno idea
i just don`t know then how to reverse the read only position afterwards to get back . so at this point i have been closing the file after ea. time i use it

Check if there is any security application that run in the background and interfere with AOO. See if AOO has to be whitelisted to prevent the open files to be locked.

If I remember correctly (from Forum years ago) a backup utility called Comodo(?) did continuous backups, and as it touched an OpenOffice file that rendered the file Read-only.
