How to fix pages being printed as standing instead of lie?

Postby Hardenz » Sun Dec 22, 2019 10:37 pm

Hi guys

So I press CTRL + P and select Orientation -> Lie down (translated). But the pages still get printed as standing.

How do you fix this?

Thank you in advance.

The words you need are Portrait (upright) and Horizontal (wide).

You must change two settings: one in /Format /Pages : Page tab to select the page to be horizontal, and the other in /File /Print : Properties button, to tell the printer to use horizontal.

You must adjust /File /Pages : Page tab for _all_ Page Styles used in your document.

Rory's reference to Horizontal, is also referred to as Landscape.

BTW: You should check your OpenOffice version, as 6.3 (as registered in your forum signature) does not exist.
OpenOffice 4.1.7 and LibreOffice 6.3.3.2 on Windows 7 Pro & Ultimate
