Copying Templates To Another Computer

Postby LilZebra » Fri Feb 02, 2018 1:01 am

I have a Fax template that I use to communicate with my Dr.

Normally I use my laptop to create a fax cover sheet and use LO Base to select from the database the Dr. I wish to fax.

When I recently tried to copy the .ott file on my laptop and copy it to a USB stick I got an error. Yet copying Base files to the desktop PC works just fine.

Sorry I can't show you the error right now because my laptop is not with me, but I'm hoping I'll get it back this weekend to screenshot it.

Once you've copied your template on the new drive, you've to import in with the File>Templates>Organize, then select My Templates for example and with the Commands button, import it.

Please add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
