[Solved] Creating calendar in Draw

Postby sandycb01 » Thu Jul 21, 2016 5:56 pm

I have used Visio in the past and it had excellent functionality to create a calendar / timeline by defining start and end dates and then dragging icons over onto the calendar. This allowed me to create a project timeline showing milestones, meetings etc. Draw does not seem to be able to do this. Am I missing something? Thanks

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!

I'm not familiar with Visio but what you're describing doesn't sound like something that OO Draw supports. It's possible to do timelines from raw data using OO Chart but the diagram you get out is quite limited.

There may be some macro code or an extension for creating time-based diagrams in OO Draw, but I'm not aware of any.
