Simple linking between two worksheets : but how do I do?

I am working with a group of labours who cut earth and get paid according to the volume of earthwork by a group. There is no fixed nos. of labours in a group. Also there is not fixed nos. of groups in a work site. I am giving an example of a worksite :

_____________________________________________
Sl-----Group name-----Len-----Width-----Height-----Vol
_____________________________________________
1-------Group A----------5---------3-----------2---------30
_____________________________________________
----------------------------4---------5-----------2---------40
_____________________________________________
----------------------------5---------4-----------1---------20
_____________________________________________
2-----Group B------------4---------3-----------2--------- 24
____________________________________________
----------------------------5---------2-----------3---------30
____________________________________________
3-------Group C----------5------- 4----------- 2---------40
____________________________________________
4--------Group D--------8---------2-----------2--------32
____________________________________________

Here Group A dug 3 nos. of pits, group B dug 2 pits etc. Like above.... any group can dig more than one pit. So, there is not any fixed no. pits one group can dig. I use "SUBTOTAL" to calculate the total volume of earthwork by each group.

Now, I want to Transfer those data into another worksheet where I calculate the payment for each group. Here the group names will come one after another maintaining each row. This sheet will look like :
________________________________________________________
Sl.-------Name of Group----------Vol. of work-------- Rate----------Total
________________________________________________________
1---------- Group A --------------------90 ----------------10-----------900.00
________________________________________________________
2-----------Group B---------------------54-----------------10----------540.00
________________________________________________________
3------------Group C--------------------40-----------------10----------400.00
_________________________________________________________
4-------------Group D-------------------32------------------10---------320.00
_________________________________________________________

How do I create the second worksheet which will be based on the data available on the first worksheet.

According to my company demand I have to make those two sheets separately. Please help me to do the same with one time entry at the first worksheet.

Thanks in advance

Never do this in a spreadsheet. Always use a relational database to store related tables. Having said this, I know too well that nothing will ever stop people from misusing spreadsheets. Get any old book on Spreadsheets ("Excel '93 for Dummies") and refer to MATCH, LOOKUP, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP.
