STEYX, standard error?

Postby Ducey » Tue Apr 08, 2008 3:08 am

I've seen a few threads around asking about how to add the standard error bars to graphs, but I can't even figure out how to use the thing in the first place. How would I generate the standard error of the mean for a set of values organized in a column (say, B7:18?)

Also, in the help file there is a small typo, it is spelled STEXY once.

Nevermind, found out how easy it is to do standard error calculations and just went by hand. Now to figure out how to put them on graphs!

For the Chart issue: double-click the chart, right click the serie representation and select Object properties. Go to the Statistics tab.

Haven't found any STEXY string in the help file, perhaps something for STandard Error XY?

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
AOO 4.1.7 on Xubuntu 20.04 and 4.1.5 on Windows 10 (with winPenPack port).
