Turn on /View /non printing characters (that same command turns it off), position your cursor at top of text on the page (i.e. not in the page header) after the page you wish to Delete, and press backspace. If that doesn't do what you wish, immediately use /Edit /Undo (or Ctrl Z).

The cursor must be the very first character, i.e. before anything in the text area, including the Pilcrow (backwards P character, which indicates a blank line/paragraph).

First off, this is a different question, and, therefore, by the forum rules, should've been put into it's own topic.
While the pictures might've been restorable using the Undo (ctrl+z) command, I suspect that you've closed OpenOffice (and therefore your document).
When closing OpenOffice/your document, you should've been asked if you wanted to save the changes. If you said Yes (which most people do want, most of the time), then I think your only option is to reinsert the pictures into your document.
If you didn't say Yes to saving the changes, then the pictures might still be there when you open the document.

How did you insert the pictures? How did you anchor the pictures? Have you tried anything to move the pictures?
