Print a 3x5 card from Office on HP8710

Postby molloyro » Wed Nov 13, 2019 6:58 pm

Hello,
Could someone direct me to how I can print on the bottom half of a fold-over 5-1/2"x8-1/2" card, printing from HPOfficeJetPro 8710.
Thanks.

One option is to make your document for the actual card size, then insert blank lines at the top so that you force your actual document to the bottom of the page.

Also, very possibly you may have to feed your paper/card from the manual feed tray - depends on the precise specification of the printer. Either you will have to feed straight through (i.e. paper coming out the back slot - again, printer dependent) or limit yourself to a light card, possibly no more that 160 gsm (again, check printer specification)
.

Thank you both for these suggestions, I'll give them a try. I did try something similar to making the document similar to the card size and the printer told me I needed an intervention ... well, it said, your printer needs an intervention. I've no idea what that might mean.

Perhaps this advice on the HP support site might be helpful.

See the printer manual.
