Hate to bother you all but I can't log in. I can't find support to talk to. I know my password but I guess I don't remember my user name and email.

What I need to know is there an add on which allows text to speech?

You are currently logged in at the community forum of users of OpenOffice, where you can get pretty much all the help you need. I'm not sure where you want to be able to log in. And please note that you can have different user names and passwords for this forum, the OpenOffice Wiki, the Extensions site, bug tracker and so on.

As floris v says: also, there is no official support service for OpenOffice, it being a volunteer supported program. Post a query to one of the threads on this Forum and we will do our best to aid you.

I can't log into OpenOffice main. I see that the log in for the forum works. What I really need to know is there a text to speech add on available?

You shouldn't have to log in to the OpenOffice download site using any credentials - it is open access. Try a search at https://extensions.openoffice.org for whatever extensions you require.

Thank you. That link allowed me to add text to speech. I guess I won't worry about not being able to log in to OpenOffice.

OpenOffice itself - the program installed on your computer - only asks for a login so that it can identify you as a user on your computer, and hence identify your files, differentiating you from any other users of your computer.
