Postby Proger1983 » Thu Oct 01, 2020 11:53 am

Hello. I need to make deb-package with LibreOfiice extension. How I can run extension installation from postinst script in deb package?
Edit: Moved to Extensions forum from Code Snippets because that one is for "working examples of macros / scripts".

You have some extension.
You have a packaging program for Debian packages.
Your distribution provides several LibreOffice extensions in Debian packages that may serve as examples.
Everything is open source.
Just go ahead, pack your package and tell us how it works. If you encounter any difficulties with the package itself, Debian forums may be more helpful than this one. If you encounter any difficulties with the package contents, you may find some help on this forum.
P.S: without Debian package, any extension installed through the GUI goes to the user profile ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/.... However, you can use the unopkg program with --shared option in order to install the same package for all users. Then it goes to the LibreOffice install path.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
