[Solved] Wrong Time when running Report

Postby greenpoise » Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:47 pm

Hi there,

I have created a report based on a query. In the query the time shows properly however, when I go to the report, instead of reading PM it reads AM. ANy leads?

thanks

Dan

What expression do you use in the query? Which type of database? HSQL? dBase? MySQL? Are you running the vanilla report wizard or the Sun Report Builder add-on?

I am using Sun Report Builder. It is a normal query done in Design View

Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
SELECT "tblTime"."EmpID", "FirstName" + ( ' ' ) + "LastName" AS "Employee", "tblTime"."EntryDate", "tblTime"."EntryTime" FROM "tblTime" AS "tblTime", "tblEmployee" AS "tblEmployee" WHERE "tblTime"."EmpID" = "tblEmployee"."EmpID" AND "tblTime"."EntryDate" >= :BeginningDate AND "tblTime"."EntryDate" <= :EndingDate

The query runs fine but in the report instead of showing 3:00 PM it shows 3:00Am for example.

Thanks

It was a bug in SRB with time in footer and header part of report, and it resolved in 3.0, isssue 93017
It seems to me this is the similar case.
