[Solved] Templates from MS Word 2003

Postby jbacinti » Mon Jan 26, 2015 8:51 pm

How can I move or otherwise transfer templates to OO 4.1.1 from MS Word 2003?

Thanks,

jbacinti

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Open the templates, save them as ODF template (.ott). You can then import them in the Template folder by using the File>Templates>Organize>My Templates, then Commands>Import template.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the edit button if your issue has been fixed.

When I open the template in Word 2003 that I want to move and click on File / Save As, the option to save as an ODF template is not an option. Any ideas?

Open the templates with Writer instead of Word 2003.
