[Solved] Edit a Query - Option is missing / disabled

Postby beersuser » Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:22 pm

Libreoffice Version: 5.3.6.1 (x64)
Connecting to MS SQL DB
Create a Query - query works fine.
Later, when I want to edit or view the SQL code within the query, I cannot - on the 'Right Click' context menu, the option to edit is missing. In the 'Edit' Menu in Libreoffice Base, the options are all disabled.
Another set of queries against another MS SQL DB can be edited without any problem.
I'm happy to provide any missing info, but does anybody know why these options are not available - I have been on this for hours now.

I can reproduce this if I make a Base file read-only.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

Thanks for the help - not read only as such, but it led me to think the file may be open elsewhere by someone - which it was!
