Old formulas can't be edited

Postby 66gto » Sun Mar 03, 2013 3:17 am

This just happened to me too. Opened up some old documents from 5 years ago, and about half of the formulas won't let me edit them. If I double click on them it opens them in a full screen window that says "sv4k7.tmp (read only)" across the top banner. The "4k7" part changes if I click on different formulas, but they all start with "sv" end with ".tmp" and are read only for some reason. Also if I right click on them in the document, the pocket menu doesn't give me the "edit" option. Again this is only happening with about half the formulas in the document, others open and edit as normal.

If this problem is fixed I'd like to know the solution, as I don't see it in this thread.

Split from [Solved] Re-editing Math formulas. OP seems to have fixed his problem by himself. Sad that he did not tell how indeed.

But your issue seems different, so I've split the post. Can you upload a sample file so that we have a look (see How to attach a document here)?
