Question about text for a bumper sticker

Postby Moe Shinola » Mon Apr 25, 2016 11:24 pm

I import a bumper sticker template and enter my text. I can change the font and font size, but I also need to stretch the text to fit the dimensions of the sticker(3x11). How do I do this while still being able to select and change out the font and font size(just to see what looks best)?

Sorry, it's not possible to stretch or distort text. You can convert the text to curves and then do whatever you like, but you won't be able to edit the text after that.

I sometimes work around this by simply keeping a copy of the text object. If I need to edit it, I can work with the text and then convert (another copy) to curves again.

Ah. Ok. There must be a way to do what I envision. It shouldn't be difficult to do with software.
