Export to PDF Hyperlink Button inaccurate

Postby khblue » Mon Jun 22, 2015 11:39 am

I'm opening a pdf graphic in OO Draw then adding some hyperlink buttons, then exporting as a pdf.

The two hyperlinks buttons I've added link to:
http://www.mysite.com/subpageA
http://www.mysite.com/subpageB

However when exported both buttons link only to:
http://www.mysite.com

The subpages after the '/' are lost.

Any thoughts how to retain all of the link rather than it losing info after the first single '/' ?

Thanks
Kevin

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!

Your links work as expected when I export a pdf from OO Draw.

Can you attach a sample document that shows the problem?

 Edit: PS:
I believe that such links can be added to a pdf directly, using software designed for modifying a pdf. OO Draw is not intended for editing pdf documents.

To me this looks like a bug in LibreOffice 4.4.3. I created document with 2 hyperlinks to the forum's main page and to this topic.
LO exports a PDF where both hyperlinks refer to this topic. Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1 does it right.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

Oh, shoot. Open Office on my Windows 8.1 box will not open my initial pdf graphic in the Draw package, which is why I switched to LO. (Also installed on Windows 8.1, has same problem with hyperlink)

I'll try and install OO on my Linux machine if I get chance and try that.

Thanks
