I use calc for doing my invoices. When I want to print the envelop send the invoice of I select the cells containing the address copy and then paste into writer and print. Until recently, this has been fine, but now it doesn't work. The cells paste but there is no info in them!

Can anyone help?

I can't put all my business financial details, my accountant doesn't even see the whole sheet!

I started a new document and did the same thing, and it worked perfectly. Also it seems to be a bit temperamental as it has work for one invoice not that long ago, but I try it now and it won't work.

I have just tried copying a whole invoice into new document and then trying and it works fine.

So can reset anything in old document or shall I just copy the sheets over?

Thank you very much for the help so far.

Difficult to say without seeing the file. Can't you save a copy of your file and remove all the data except few cells (replace information by dummy values)? Check that you can reproduce the issue with the remaining cells and upload it here.

Here it is the heavily edited version. When I started to prepare it the first time I deleted the rows, but this then meant that it started to work!!! So the Invoice is down on row 154.

Thank you so much for your time.

Strange indeed. I see that also with your file, the pasted cells are aligned on row 129 so you need to scroll down to make the data appear. Basically, you should paste as unformatted text, to avoid embedding a spreadsheet in the document if only the address is needed.

But the bug remains. I've not been able to reproduce that with a new spreadsheet. If nobody has any idea, you can try to file a bug report and upload your file, perhaps there is a deeper bug hidden behind: [Tutorial] Reporting bugs.

I appear to be duplicating Hagar's results. I cannot copy the data and paste it into a Writer document however a Paste Special > Unformatted text works. Also if I copy the data, paste it into a new spreadsheet and then copy that , it works fine when I paste into Writer.
