[Solved] Error message

Post by colleenalice »

Every time I open "Open Office" this error message opens & will not close regardless of clicking on the options: Don't open or Reopen. This is the error message:
The last time you opened OpenOffice.org, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?

I think you will find a solution in this thread.

Reopening Windows Error Message

Post by kat112678 »

I am also getting this error message "unexpectedly quit while reopening windows" and it won't go away. I just updated my OpenOffice to version 4.0.1 and no luck. I am up to date on my Mac OS as well - 10.8.5. I don't have this "saved application folder" under library from other threads. I've tried searching for an answer and none of the recommendations present solutions for my error. This is the first time I have ever received this error message.

If you have previously tried it, you may have missed some small detail.

I missed the holding "Alt/Option" when going to the "Go" part. Once I did that, the Library showed up and I could delete that file. It wasn't easy to find though.
