The attached file explores how to go about ensuring the consistency of data in an OOo environment. Specifically it examines the issues involved and possible solutions to the question of how to deal with errors that occur during processing of a number of items of interdependant data in applications using Calc and Base before all the items have been processed.
The information presented is based upon what I have been able to deduce about how the OOo environment works and some of my inferences may not be 100% correct. Please correct any of my misconceptions if you detect any and add any further information that may make the picture more complete.
