Check it out: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/, look at the Oracle logo on the bottom left corner of the page - it's linked to http://www.sun.com, and when you click it you get a 404 message. Looks bad, someone should fix it.

Yes, we know, several threads about that already. But this forum is not part of the main OOo web site and is managed by volunteers, users like you. No Oracle staff here.

When did you check? I haven't seen the OOo extensions site working for something like a week, maybe longer.

Just did a quick check and after a couple of retries the main page loads. 3:20pm left coast, USA.

Works right now too. But the display is not that good, as if all the HTML was not taken into account.

I constantly get "Connection reset by peer... try again?" error pages in Firefox.

Using wget (a command-line http client) that retries the request and logs the results, I can see that it fails most of the time but sometimes--about 1 in 10--it does get a complete html page back.

I can reach extensions.openoffice.org; the problem is only with extensions.services.openoffice.org

Hello

On the Dutch forum was nearly the same question. When I start testing I found that this link for LibreOffice is working.

I don't know if this extension can work for OpenOffice.org.
As far I can see the list is not complete

The LiboOffice page only points to the OOo page. The page was put together by a member of the LiboOffice marketing team after reviewing the license to make sure that they were free and open.

just a little point of clarification - the LibreOffice page points to a page put up by the FSF, prior to the LibreOffice split. It is maintained by people, primarily, from the OO.o project. There is also a non-free page at the same site, BTW. Anyway - all it does is link back to the OO.o extension site.

There is a LibreOffice extension repository under development - in testing at the moment and will be at least a few weeks before it is anywhere near ready for real users..

Yes, it was only a temporary stability (and a glimmer of hope) ... ;)
Thanks, I've cancelled my remark.
