[Solved] Importing a bunch of images

I'd like to import a bunch of images (200 to 300) into an Impress presentation to create a slide show. It's quite possible I've simply missed it but I cannot find any way to do this other than adding the images one at a time. In PowerPoint 2003 there was an Insert -> Picture -> Photo Album option (or something like that, don't have it in front of me) that basically created a presentation with all the images selected. Is there something similar in Impress? If so, where is it?

Does it help: [Solved] Insert Multiple Images?

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

There are also some extensions available; here are two, at least:
http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... toAlbumGUI
http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... PhotoAlbum

I haven't used any of them myself.

Whatever you end up with, maybe you could post a follow up here, telling us how it worked out.

and how the audience reacted to getting 200 - 300 images at a sitting - that is, if you live to tell the tale! :-)

The audience was 25 eighth graders and the 200 - 300 images were pictures of them. They would have watched all night.

Not knowing which to chose, I went with the Photo Album Creator macro first (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooomacr ... 20Creator/). Worked like a charm, highly recommended.
