[Solved] Fill an area with dots
[Solved] Fill an area with dots
I am trying to fill an object with dots, instead of a solid color or hashes, I want to use just dots. I cannot find a way to do that successfully. I'd love any insight how to do it if it is at all possible. Thanks

Re: Fill Question
If you can find an image of dots, you can import it and use it to fill the shape's area. Right click on the shape, select Area and then the Bitmap tab. There is an Import button there.

You can create and apply your own patterns in the LibreOffice Draw application:
Tibor Kovacs, Hungary; LO7.5.8 /Win7-10 x64Prof.
PortableApps/winPenPack: LO3.3.0-7.6.2;AOO4.1.14

Re: Fill an area with dots
I always recommend replacing OpenOffice with LibreOffice: https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/li ... penoffice/Zizi64 wrote:You can create and apply your own patterns in the LibreOffice Draw application:
However, a similar pattern editor can be found in OpenOffice Draw via right-click>Area>tab:Bitmap
