Spreedsheet formula will not display result in cell

I use formulas to create price lists of raw material in my shop that automaticly add markups based on my cost so that all I have to do is reenter a new cost to update my price list. This worked fine untill a power outage forced me to restore the file I was working on. Now the cells with formula still show the formula in the text box at the top but all I get when I try enter a new number is #VALUE! or ###. I have checked everthing I can think of, so what am I doing wrong? A sample formula would be Cell C12 =SUM(B12+B12*.40) and Cell D12 =SUM(B12+B12*.60)

The #### means you have to widen your column (pull the divider between columns C and D)
