I have an Excel spread sheet with protected cells that require a password to access. When I open the spread sheet in Calc, it lets me remove all security. Is there a way to protect cells and prevent Calc from allowing the security to be removed?

If possible, do not save your work .xls format. Use the ISO standard ODF formats.
