[Solved] Insert menu unavailable

Hi folks,
Since a while, I lost the insert menu from my menu bar. I still can go around and manually add some insert functions (file, image, etc..) to the toolbar, however other functions disappeared for good, like insert footer so there is no way for me to add page numbers. I spent hours trying to recover the menu unsuccessfully. I suspect the beta versio (3) I recently tried. I uninstalled the whole thing and went back to 2.4 version many times, but it didn't solve the issue.
Please let me know if you have any clue,

Sounds pretty like your user profile is corrupt.
So you could try to Reset user's application profile.
