[Solved] How to introduce a text watermark?

Post by normansimonr »

Hello. Ive been working on a document of writer, but I cant add a text watermark. The idea is to edit it when i need, so i dont want to manage it as an image watermark.

Thanks to all.

I'd probably put it in a frame but anyway select the text, do Format > Character > Font Effects tab and select a light gray for the Font Color.

Hi,

I tried to put a Textbox onto the page (Drawing toolbar), then I cut/paste a colored, resized text from normal text area into the Textbox. I set the rotation angle of Textbox, and I adjust position of Textbox, then send it to background.

Use Crtl-click to re-edit it.

You must copy it to every page (it not a PageStyle property, will not repeated automatically when you apply a page break...)

If you want an auto repeated watermark, you need use a picture in bakground of used Pagestyles.

Hi, I found another way to add an autorepeated text watermark. The only thing i had to do was to cut the normal watermark and paste it in the header; so the text can be edited whenever and it appears repeated in every page.

Good day.
