[Solved] Table of contents and dot leaders how to?

How to remove dots in table of contents inbetween heading and page number? See picture.

Writer inserts the dotted line at field level, so you need to edit the TOC field.
Right click inside the TOC and select to edit index/TOC. Then for each of the heading levels you're using:
  • Select the heading level (in the vertical bar listing numbers from 1 to 10).
  • Select the tab element (The T button in the Structure line).
  • Select the blank entry in the selector for fill character.
You may also need to edit the Content x style for each level. That style applies to the automatic entries, but tab character is overridden by the field setting. It also applies (or should be applied) to entries you insert manually.
Apache OO 4.1.12 and LibreOffice 7.5, mostly on Ms Windows 10

Hi,

- Set the cursor into the TOC
- Right click (context menu)
- Select: Edit Index/Table ...
index_fillchar-none.png
- Line Structure: Select the [T] button (=Tab stop)
- Line Fill character: Remove the dot (backspace)
- (Repeat it for all levels)
- OK

Tools > Update > Current Index
