I have take the "tempory save file" by writer on :
"c:\documents and setting\damien\Application data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\backup"
When I open this file, I have the same result.

The first file was save 5 minutes before the backup file.

I have working on this file on "PC Portable" and 7 minutes after the last save, the Pc is closed by no battery...

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Sorry, your file is definitively dead. Nothing left inside. This is sadly not the first time we see that: 22 pages term paper replaced with pound signs.

Désolé...

There may be a backup file, of name YourFile.bak, where you replace YourFile with the correct name. Use Start Button / Search / Files and Folders and tell it to search for hidden files and folders, to be sure.

Edit: some users report that opening a corrupted file with AbiWord can recover most/all of it.

@RoryOF :

But I don't found a file .bak

I have on my disk a file name : .~lock.name_of_file.odt#
I have two other file with in front of ".~lock." and at the end "#"

What is it? It's a virus???

These are the lock files generated by OpenOffice so that two Users cannot both try to modify the same file. If there are multiple lock files as you describe then the main files were open at the time your computer crashed. With OpenOffice _closed_, you can delete these files.

Have filed a bug report, I hope the devs will consider it: Issue 107847 - File content changed to hashes at crash or power loss.
