[Solved] Save customized number format

Post by redhorse27 »

Hallo,
I'm a OO new user, I've installed version 3.0.0, and have a little problem using numbers format in Writer tables. I've defined a number format with
negative numbers between brackets #.##0 ;(#.##0) , I saved my document but when I open the saved documents and change some numbers I lost my format,
and I do not find the format in the numbers format popup.
Anybody could help me ? How could I save the format permanently ?
Many thanks.

It works for me: my custom number formats are saved in the document and are available when I re-open it.

What file format are you using when you save your document?

If it's not OOo's native ODF format (.odt for text documents), try saving it in that format.

Thank you, in effect I was saving the document as a .doc document. I'll save documents in native format.
