[Solved] script.xlb and dialog.xlb error

Post by hotentote »

When I start the program I receive the following errors messages:

Error loading BASIC of document
file:///C:/Archivos%20de%20programa/OpenOffice.org
%202.4/program/../share/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/C.tmp_/Pagination-1.3.1.oxt/Paginatio/script.xlb:
General Error.
General input/output error.

Error loading BASIC of document

%202.4/program/../share/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/C.tmp_/Pagination-1.3.1.oxt/Paginatio/dialog.xlb:
General Error.
General input/output error.

I accept and the program begins well.
The problem began when I upgraded to the version 2.4 (Windows XP home), with the version 2.3 I never had any problem.
Some idea of how to solve this situation?
I know this is a similar problem solved in:
"[Solved] Error when starting OpenOffice 2.3 Post by Satara15"
but I tried to use that solution and it didn't work.
Thank you.

Try to uninstall the extension and to install it again. That issue is specific to the extension so the other thread solution should not have any influence indeed.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

NB: I move your thread to the Setup a Troubleshouting forum because it's not specific to Windows.
