[Solved] Can I create a website?

Sorry im new to all this... and its probably a stupid question. but am i able to create a website using any of these OOo programs? chosing from any one of these 6? or do i have to down load a new program in order to do that? cos i know on microsoft office the program is called 'FrontPage'. If so are u able to tell me how to create a webpage using openoffice.

Using an office suite to create a webpage is probably a bad idea. Using frontpage is an even worse idea, the code that comes out of it is garbage and there's a good chance that your site will only work properly on IE. Even MS seems to have given up on the program and has binned it. I don't know what you want to achieve with your site but before going for a WYSIWYG editor it'd be a good idea to look into things like Wordpress or Joomla.

I wouldn't try using OOo. I use and recommend KompoZer, which is free and open source.

It's easy and helpfull.

I think you Should try Kompozer Because it's open source.

If you like install wamp on your computer and then install Joomla and WordPress inside that then you can Make Cool Web sites.

After you Install try this Gadget too. I just found this site that offers a free webcam chat script (similar to chatroulette). it's very simple to add to your site, you just have to copy and paste a few html lines ... check it out: http://faceflow.com/chatroulette-clone-script

I think that one will add Some cool Interaction to your site too. You can use that to chat with your friends too with your Own system.

OOo can edit in HTML mode. Some users have created simple web pages in it.
