Mail merge to address labels from XL spreadsheet

Hey,
I got and address list set up on excell spreadsheet. I can only open it by rightclicking and going to>open with>openoffice.org.calc

Then it's "read only" I think because the sender did it for microsoft word.

I want to set it up on address labels (columns G,H,I,J,K) (street,town,state,zip,name)

I downloaded the Avery 5160 template from pg 24 of the templates page at openoffice.org

I bought the 8160 labels from Avery, compatible with that template.

Still can't seem to figure out hoew to merge from the spreadsheet on to the template, Can anyone walk me thru it?????

I'm not terribly computer literate.
