Open Office 2009 advertising (spam)

Post by jhmac77 »

I am getting email from another source advertising PDF for Open Office 3.X. It it true and where can I find it?
Edit: Hagar (Moderator): first an 'innocent' post like this was a genuine user question.

NB: have changed the thread title.

Edit: Hagar (Moderator): then the reply faking an answer to the initial question (some cleverer method uses a different user account to make it more believable).

Look what's here!!! He even advertises in the very OOo forum now!

I've just banned him.

To anyone landing here: this is not an advertisement for the official OpenOffice.org suite, see also: Fake Download Open Office 2009 - Credit Card Fraud.
