HSQL Sample Sun Rpt Builder-DB Defintion

Post by Sliderule »

The link below is a 'sample' database ( HSQL - embedded OpenOffice database ) that includes two Reports and some Queries:
  1. HSQL_Database_Index_Information
  2. HSQL_Database_Table_Information
The idea is, if you place this database on your machine, open both this database and your HSQL database, COPY ( drag and drop ) from this database, the two Reports to your HSQL database, it will create reports describing your database definition. :bravo:

Additionally, one could 'explore' the Reports to see an example of using the Sun Report Builder. For example, use of 'functions', 'groups', etc.
  1. For OpenOffice 3.1 http://www.mediafire.com/file/nyzuwwkwm ... DB-RPT.odb
  2. For OpenOffice 3.2 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5w5memzmhdo
Enjoy.
