Hello everyone,
After creating a form from a table, I realized that the order in which the fields are displayed on the form does not correspond to the order in which the cursor moves from field to field when using the TAB key. I remember from other database solutions that there was a parameter setting to change this order. It was something like an index number. However, I can't figure out, how to do this in Base. Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance!
Best,
Bella

Re: How to change order of fields in a form moving with TAB key
Open the form in design mode (right-click>Edit)
Every control has properties "Tab Order" and "Tabstop" (yes/no)
menu:View>Toolbars>Form Design
Button #7 "Activation Order" (dialog to set tab orders)
Button #9 (toggle button) "Automatic Focus" (focus first control when loading)

Oh, wait a minute! I forgot to mention the form's property "Cycle" which can be used to limit the scope of the tab order.
