MS Access migration into OpenOffice Base

Post by seeker58 »

A customer of mine has decided to purchase a mac thus meaning that his access dbase will not work. I would like to convert or migrate or import whatever term is correct the access database into open office base. I am using Ms Access 2003 and open office 3.1. I do not want to recreate the wheel if i do not have to.

Tables, data, and (most) queries you can import. Forms ,reprots, code, you must recreate in OOo Base. Queries you can import are SELECT queries only. Also, queries must not contain VBA function calls, as these will not work in OOo.
