The extension file reportrunner.oxt is now hosted at
Report Runner

Version 1.0 includes native language files for English ( default ), Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simple and Traditional), Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish

Edit: For those using versions of OpenOffice.org prior to 2.2 the Basic library will be uploaded here shortly, minus the native language support files for the Dialog interface. The Basic library should be compatible with all versions of OpenOffice.org from 2.0 onwards.

Version 0.0.6 of the extension includes the following changes:

Language files added for the toolbar, menu and dialog controls for the following locals:
English( US )
Dutch( Netherlands )
French( France )
German( Germany )
Italian( Italy )
Portuguese( Portugal )
Spanish( Spain )

The extension now works with reports stored in folders in the Base report document container.

Destination directory can be changed by using Directory Picker dialog. ( button to right of full file name )

File destination and base name can be edited directly for both ODT and PDF targets.

Extension will warn you before overwriting existing file with same name. You can chose to overwrite the file or cancel the operation.

Known bugs:
File path is not set correctly when disk drive root directory is selected in the Directory Picker under Windows XP. ( Update the file path by hand for this )

The warning dialog for overwriting the destination file is not internationalized yet.

yes - and sorry for the delay.

I am finishing a database to go along with a more extensive tutorial ( the tutorial was written by someone other then myself ) as part of this I incorporated parts of the report runner library..I should have both the report runner update and the first cut of the tutorial database available for download this week
