[Solved] Openoffice with Nautilus gvfs and Samba Share on F9

Post by jamesarbrown »

This is a post for anyone experiencing problems with Fedora9 and open office when trying to save on a Windows share which is giving a "general input/output error" when trying to save doc files.... odt strangely worked.

The solution was simple (in my case) and solved by installing SUN java rather than the java bundled with the F9

A guide to installing Sun Java is here
