Sorry no more idea than Hagar de l'Est.
They are just "standard" .ttf not Open Type fonts?

hi you should just put the font file in the /fonts folder of Windows. Font installation is a system wide operation, not specific to OOo.

Have you restarted your computer? Often OpenOffice does not see newly installed fonts until after a system restart.ShopCreativeDesigns wrote:I have done this however, they are available lfor other programs just not in OOo. How can I use them in there?

I'm pretty sure .TTP's don't work on OpenOffice
Try converting it into an .OTF and install it (you might want to replace it)
To install it, just download the .OTF version from an online converter and click install or manually do it:
(Vista)
Control Panel -> Search just "Font" and click "install or remove" under the font folder. Then, drag it to the folder and it should install.
Then, just restart OpenOffice and it should pop up ^^

I use OpenOffice v3.3 on an old Vista

Do you mean TTF fonts? They do most certainly work in OpenOffice, with exceptions for some independently produced fonts which are not quite correct in their internal configuration. In general OpenOffice should see almost every font visible to the operating system, but it only recognises such fonts on its start-up. If you have OpenOffice open, and install new fonts, you will need to restart OpenOffice for it to see them (perhaps also the Quickstarter).Asdfghjkl; wrote:I'm pretty sure .TTP's don't work on OpenOffice
