Microsoft Works database

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? - 2.4.0
What Operating System (version) are you using? - MS XP
What is your question or comment? - Is it possible to open a Microsoft Works 4.5 database with Open Office?
If so, how? I have tried without success.
OOo 2.4.X on Ms Windows XP

Works text file? Maybe. Works database, definitely not. You need to find a copy of Works, open the file, and export it to something like DBF which OpenOffice.org understands. There may a tiny handful of other programs that open Works databases, but maybe not. You can do a search like this
