[Issue] pdf export problem?

Post by acknak »

Could someone help me test a small problem I'm having with a drawing?

Open the attached Draw document:

File > Export as PDF, Pages: 2; ok.

View the exported pdf. Check the links--do they work?

Export pages 2,3. Check the links on both pages--do they work?

I'm especially interested in what happens with Adobe's pdf viewer, but any others would be interesting also. Just make sure to say what viewer you're using. If the problem shows up consistently, I'll file a bug report.

Thanks!

Both pages work for me on Adobe Reader X (Windows).
Edit: Correction: the link on the page 2 arrow doesn't work.

With Adobe reader 9.4.6 the yellow boxes on both pages work, but the arrow on page 2 does not work.

Windows Vista:
- Arrow page 2 doesn't work with Acrobat Reader 9.3.4 for both exports
- Everything is OK with PDF XChange Viewer 2.0 (Build 39.2) for both exports

Wow. Thanks for taking time to check.

Interesting that different pdf viewers give different results, and that some viewers give different results for the two different links (text on left vs. arrow shape on right.

Here's what I see (evince 2.30, which is somewhat out of date):
  • Export
    pages Result
    ------- ------------
    (all) ok
      1 ok
      2 no links work
      3 no links work
     1,2 ok
2,3 no links on first exported page, second page ok
1,3 links on first exported page ok, no links on second page
     1,2,3 ok
Now I can't say if it's an OOo problem or a pdf viewer problem. Maybe I should report it anyway--let the devs decide if there's anything they can do about it.
