[Solved] Database Diagrams

Postby gms » Sun Nov 01, 2009 3:17 pm

Does anyone have a template or know the best way to produce a database diagram (schema) using Draw? I need to be able to show "one to many", "one to one" etc. relationships between tables as well as the fields in the tables if possible.

Thx

Problem solved I have found a great web page on this topic at http://www.thinktek.ca/articles/article2.php (using crows feet notation etc.)

Yes--that's the best solution I've come across.

Unfortunately, the line ends don't apply to Draw's connectors, so you lose a lot of useful functionality having to use plain lines instead of connectors.

There is a request for it: Issue 13455: please support crows foot connector endings in Draw, and there are some related issues linked in the comments under that issue.

You can register there and add your vote (up to two) or comment.
