[Solved] Creating navigation panel

Post by Newbie »

hi

i recently downloaded openoffice mainly for presentation purposes. i've realised that impress is the app i need to focus on and i've already started digging into it.....but isn't it amazing that these wonderful collection of programs that makes up this suit is all for free? wow! and kudos to the developers.

i need to find out something from you guys though and that is:

is it possible to creat rollover hyperlinks.....buttons to click on to launch other pages just like you'll find on the net in a navigation panel?.....in other words, can you creat a navigation panel with "link buttons" on the pages in impress?

Sure, You can easily make hyperlinks that lead to other slides when clicked. Or, add an interaction to a graphic element (a rectangle, as a button, for example) that does the same thing. If you want something closer to a button, the interaction is probably the way to go.

insert > Hyperlink

(right-click) > Interaction
