Hi there,
I've embedded a flash/swf file in my odp presentation (Insert/Object/Plug-in...)
The animation perfectly works in slideshow mode.
Unfortunately, the pdf export does not keep it (I just get a white page).
I've tried playing with the pdf export options, in vain.
Still, it seems to me it should be possible somehow...

I have Acrobat Pro 8 and no probs exporting the same animation in Powerpoint.
All the files are attached in the archive (draft.swf, draft.ppt, draft.ppt.pdf, draft.odp, draft.odp.pdf).
Any clue?
Cheers,
Z

From that other thread:
So it seems unlikely that this is going to be supported. I'm going to do a test with PrimoPDF. I'll let you know what happens. The OpenOffice.org application's export to PDF function includes a subset of the capabilities of the PDF format. Media embedded in an OpenOffice.org document will not be automatically embedded in an exported PDF.

I created a PDF using the free version of PrimoPDF, with the same result. Perhaps to create a PDF with that type of functionality in it you might need to be using a full PDF editing suite, like some of Adobe's own tools.
