Hi,
I am currently running OO 2.4 under Debian Lenny and would like to switch to OO3.
One problem is that when I installed OO3 with debs from openoffice.org, there was no option for enabling hardware acceleration, without which some of the Impress slides I use often get slower (animations, etc). Would I have to compile it from the source if I were to have this option?
Hardware acceleration is enabled and works find in OO 2.4. Thanks!

Re: OO3 - how to enable hardware acceleration
Hardware acceleration is not part of the official Sun build, only some derivatives (go-oo, oxygenoffice...) have it.
