How do you animate graphs, pie charts etc by element?

OOo doesn't support animated charts.

You can convert the chart to a graphic, and apply the standard animations to that.

Copy the chart object to the clipboard, then Edit > Paste Special > As GDI metafile

The pasted graphic will be a single entity. In order to modify it, you have to do Modify > Break, then you can go in and edit the individual pieces.

PS: I thought you could do that in Impress, but it seems that Draw is the only application that can do Modify > Break. After that, you can copy/paste it into Impress.

I see you have added the green tick icon. It would also be useful if you could please go to your first post and use the Edit button, and add [Solved] to the start of the title. It makes it easier for others who come searching to see that there is a possible solution for their question.

Yow! There it is.

I even looked there, but I was looking lower in the menu for some reason.

Thanks for the tip!
