[Solved] No menu bar

[Solved] No menu bar

Just installed openoffice 3.2. Writer has no menu bar (File, Tools etc) I found the customize window. I see those things as options. They seem to be selected as appearing in the menu bar - but there is no menu bar when I have a doc open.

The only thing I can think of is to reset your user profile: [Tutorial] The OOo user profile.

The menu bar is at the top of the screen, not in the application, as it is in all Mac applications. See the screenshot in this previous post:

Thank you both. I ended up trashing it, downloading again and the menu bar now is back. Mystery.
