Hi all!
I have just downloaded & installed the latest OpenOffice version on my computer. The OS is openSUSE 11.3 RC2 32-bit KDE, the JDK version is 6 update 21. The OpenOffice applications work well, very fast, but there is a problem with icons in openSUSE menu (although I have already installed the package for suse in desktop-integration directory ). Let see the screenshot below:
All of the OpenOffice application icons are question mark.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? Should I install the OpenOffice provided by openSUSE repository?
Thank you for reading!

Have you restarted SUSE since installing OOo?

Re: OpenOffice icons on openSUSE menu
If I remember correctly, blank icons like this may occur if one stage in installation has been omitted at least under debian/Ubuntu installs). That is
This last directory change and repeat at that level of a previous command often get overlooked.
Code: Select all
cd desktop-integration
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

Re: OpenOffice icons on openSUSE menu
I have already reboot the system after installed OpenOffice, but the problem persists. There is only one package suitable for openSUSE in the desktop-integration directory; the others are not.
