I installed Java to fully use Open Office features, this past September. I have Windows 11. I chose the x64 bit according to what I read regarding my browser. I really don't understand it...x32, x64. I thought I had it figured out or made a guestimate. But I think I screwed up somewhere.
Because I still get a pop up saying something like I have to install Java to utilize all Open Office features.
Also I did get an update about five weeks ago to download the latest version. Which I did.
I'm not that proficient with Open Office, don't use it professionally, but I figure I might as well have all its features available. Trying to find time to learn it better...
If anyone has any ideas, I can use it.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Installed Java x64 for full use of Open Office
The Apache OpenOffice is a 32 bit application, and there is not 64 bit version for the Windows. The 32 bit AOO requests 32 bit Java even on a 64 bit op. sys.Installed Java x64 for full use of Open Office
Or you can install the latest Still version of the LibreOffice. That has 64 bit version too.
